The New York Giants are looking at an offseason search for a new head coach.
They fired Brian Daboll earlier this season, and Mike Kafka's stint as interim coach likely hasn't been enough for him to keep the gig full time.
That will lead to plenty of rumors and speculation.
One post on social media has raised the idea of Ryan Clark as the next head coach. Clark is a former Pittsburgh Steelers safety as well as a current ESPN analyst.
One problem: The post wasn't real news.

Never say never, but the news out there about Clark as the Giants' next coach isn't real.

The bio for that account includes the word "parody," so it's giving it away right there.
It's not clear whether Clark would have any interest in an NFL coaching position. He also wouldn't have followed the relatively standard path of working a smaller role on a staff first before getting a head coaching gig.
The Giants will likely turn over a lot of rocks to find their guy, but there's no indication that Clark will be involved.
