The New York Giants' Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos was historic.

The Giants had a 19-0 lead over the Broncos going into the fourth quarter of Sunday's game and looked set to cruise to victory. Taking it a step further, the Giants had an 18-point lead inside six minutes left to play.

But that still wasn't enough and the Broncos managed to climb their way back into the game and ultimately pulled off a 33-32 victory over the Giants with an assist from a New York defensive collapse and two of missed extra points from kicker Jude McAtamney.

According to the CBS broadcast, teams that had an 18-point lead with less than six minutes left in a game were previously 1,062-0 in NFL history.

Now, that record falls to 1,062-1 after the Giants' epic letdown against Denver.

Just when the Giants had a head of steam thanks to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and a win over the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, they completely squashed it with the loss on Sunday.

Now, the Giants have to go on the road in Week 8 to take on an Eagles team that is coming off an impressive Week 7 win and is looking for revenge.

And, that game takes place at Century Link Field.
