The New York Giants want to give Jaxson Dart the keys to their franchise.

To do so, they'll have to make sure the rookie quarterback protects his head.

So far in his NFL career, Dart has given reason for concern. If it feels like he has to be evaluated for a concussion often, that's because he has.

The latest time was on Sunday, against the Washington Commanders, when Dart left the game in the fourth quarter for evaluation.

ESPN's Jordan Raanan shared the crazy stat: Dart has now been evaluated for a concussion in five of his 10 NFL games, including the preseason.

He did miss time with a concussion recently, too, the only time it has turned out he was actually concussed.

Dart's athleticism and physical prowess are two of his greatest traits. But the Giants also need him on the field.

Somewhere along the way, he'll have to figure out how to balance different priorities out there on the field.

The Giants want Dart to be their QB for years to come. He's got to be on the field.
