During the Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit in the third quarter.

It was a scary scene at first, as Dart was down on the field for an extended period of time after taking the big hit on a scramble. Dart then popped up and jogged off to the sideline, where he was evaluated for a concussion.

While that was going on, head coach Brian Daboll was not only spotted trying to go into the blue medical tent, he was also seen yelling at head team physician Dr. Rodeo.

Daboll was clearly trying to rush the process along, especially after seeing Russell Wilson come in for two plays and throw an absolute duck on his only pass attempt.

It was a bizarre scene, to say the least, and not something you see every day. And it did not sit well with Giants great Lawrence Tynes, who went on to rip Daboll for his odd behavior.

"Real bad look Daboll. Why the hell are you yelling at Dr. Rodeo. Have some damn composure and respect," Tynes wrote on X.

Apparently, the NFL didn't like what it saw with the evaluation, as the league is set to review the process involving Dart from Thursday night.

"The NFL initiated a review of the application of the concussion protocol involving Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart during last night’s game against the Eagles.  That review will be conducted jointly with the NFLPA under the parties’ collective bargaining agreement," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

We have to agree with Tynes here.

Daboll needs to relax and let the doctors do their work and make sure Dart isn't at risk of further injuring himself. It isn't just the best thing for the team, but for the player, also.

And that's especially true when you consider that Dart has now been evaluated for a concussion three times in three starts.

If there is anything we'll take the rookie quarterback to task on, it's the fact that he needs to do a better job protecting himself. Dart is taking too many big hits and that's only going to further put him at risk of getting hurt.

You don't want to take the aggressiveness and toughness out of Dart's game, but he has to find a middle ground that increases his chances of staying safe and on the field. At this rate, he is destined for a significant injury.

Rest assured, the Giants are going to work with Dart on that, and they can help their franchise quarterback out by calling less plays that give Dart a chance to run.
