The New York Giants fell 40-37 in an overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and you bet head coach Brian Daboll is ticked off.

Having owned most of the game, the Giants couldn't get out of their own way with a whopping 14 penalties for 160 yards plaguing the team as Russell Wilson continued to cook the Dallas secondary.

Malik Nabers (167 yards, two touchdowns) and Wan'Dale Robinson (142 yards, one touchdown) did all they could, but so too did the Giants in several self-inflicted wounds that would ultimately cost them what would have been a massive upset at AT&T Stadium.

And yeah, Daboll was visibly annoyed post-game.

“That was a tough one,” Daboll said. “Battle back and forth, guys left it all out on the field, tough result.”

Giants can't close out unlikely win vs. Cowboys

New York did its best to get over the line against the Cowboys, and even with Wilson cooking regularly to the tune of 451 passing yards and three touchdowns, it was his interception in overtime that was hauled in by Donovan Wilson that ended up being what lost the team the game.

The penalties were horrendous, yes, and there was some good to come out of the game, but when you lose in the manner New York did, it is easy to see why Daboll had a look of disgust post-game.

Now sitting at 0-2 after playing the Washington Commanders and Dallas, the Giants, who threw Jaxson Dart in for a couple of plays, will have to lick their wounds and get ready to go again.

But this one will sting, and we imagine that it might take Daboll a while to cool off after this one.
