Did the Giants sign Justin Tucker? Why New York's kicker moves dupe fans in fake viral post image

The New York Giants are set to have their fourth kicker of the season in Week 16.

Graham Gano, Jude McAtamney and Younghoe Koo have all had the job.

Koo was cut this week after missing a pair of field goals over the weekend, and that raised the question of who was next for the Giants.

The answer is clear, though, and it's not the one going viral online.

Did the Giants sign Justin Tucker?

No, the Giants didn't sign Justin Tucker.

The former Ravens kicker has cleared his suspension and is an available free agent, but no NFL team has given him a contract.

The rumor started thanks to this post on X from a known parody account:

That simply is not real news.

The Giants already had their next kicker in the organization. Ben Sauls, a talented lefty kicker, will be the next man up.

Despite that post being viewed hundreds of thousands of times on X, it's fake. Tucker isn't going to join the Giants.
