While all of the talk about the New York Giants' outstanding Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles has been centered around the performances of rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, New York's embattled offensive line deserves some love, too.
New York's group upfront gave up 10 pressures but zero sacks in the contest, per Pro Football Focus, and only one of those 10 pressures turned into a quarterback hit.
In the run game, New York broke loose for 172 yards and Skattebo averaged an impressive 5.2 yards per carry on 19 attempts en route to 98 yards and three touchdowns.
Making the showing more impressive was the fact that the Giants lost starting center John Michael Schmitz during the game. Austin Schlottmann replaced him and posted the second-highest run-blocking grade and highest pass-blocking grade.
The performance of the group upfront was a fry cry from what we've seen for years now from Giants offensive lines and it looks like the big boys are finally starting to round into form in 2025.
After the game was over, Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor made sure to give the group upfront a shoutout and Skattebo emphatically echoed it.

The emergence of the Giants' offensive line has come in tandem with the return of left tackle Andrew Thomas, and it's great news for Dart and Skattebo, who no doubt have the talent to continue to spark a Giants resurgence.
So far, the Giants' O-line has answered the bell. Now, the group needs to string some good games together and New York will really be in business.
