The New Orleans Saints are coming into a Week 17 matchup against the Tennessee Titans to see just how well Tyler Shough can perform in his rookie season.
He's already shown a lot of promise, but a strong finish will build even more confidence. But this week, there was a chance that he'd be without his top wide receiver, Chris Olave.
But, as Adam Schefter of ESPN shared Sunday morning, Olave is active and good to go for the Saints. Despite a back injury, Olave is set to play alongside Shough as the two look to build more chemistry.
Saints' Chris Olave active for Week 17
Dealing with a back injury, Olave came into the Week 17 matchup as questionable. But reports leading up to Sunday indicated he'd be good to go.
While it wasn't official then, with the active/inactive window not passed, the Saints have officially made Olave active for Week 17.
His connection with Shough has been a great one, and his 10-catch, 148-yard, and two-touchdown performance in Week 16 was further proof that this duo is building great chemistry.

Getting Olave healthy for Week 17 is a great boost for the offense, as without him, the overall receiver corps would've been severely depleted compared to what it's been at times this season.
Oalce, who has 92 receptions, 1,048 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns, was one of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs this season. A strong finish to 2025 could further make his snub a brutal one.
Facing a leaky Titans defense, Shough and Olave will look to pick up where they left off in Week 16, as the Saints, at 5-10, look to build on their strong performances recently courtesy of Shough and Olave.
