After suffering a concussion in Week 16, the status of New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson was up in the air going into Week 17.

Henderson was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to a full session on Friday and drawing the questionable tag.

However, the Patriots made an announcement on Saturday that confirmed Henderson's status for the Week 17 game against the New York Jets.

Here's what we know.

Is TreVeyon Henderson playing today?

Yes, Henderson will play in Week 17.

The Patriots announced on Saturday that Henderson has cleared the concussion protocol and is off the injury report and good to do.

"TreVeyon Henderson has cleared concussion protocol," the Patriots said.

TreVeyon Henderson start or sit advice

While last week was a disappointment because of his injury and early exit, that should not deter you from starting Henderson in Week 17.

The rookie has been on a tear since Week 8, ranking as RB10 overall in fantasy points per game in that span.  He has been getting consistent work and has been showing the big-play ability we saw all the way back in the preseason.

He now draws a matchup against a putrid Jets defense giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to running backs in 2025. New England should lead this game from wire to wire, which is fantastic game script for running backs.

Start Henderson with plenty of confidence in Week 17.

Verdict: Start
