His playing career concluded following the 2008 season.
Vince Wilfork, a defensive tackle, also advanced to the semifinals. Wilfork was recognized as a five-time Pro Bowler, a three-time Second-Team All-Pro, and a one-time First-Team All-Pro from 2007 to 2012. He has won the Super Bowl twice.
Several other prominent figures have advanced to the subsequent stage, such as Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, and Eli Manning.
