TreVeyon Henderson had the highest athleticism score of any running back at the NFL Combine.

He's taking that freakish ability to the New England Patriots.

The Pats took him at No. 38 overall in the NFL Draft, early in Friday's second round.

Henderson, who never fumbled once in college, becomes the running back of the future in New England alongside franchise QB Drake Maye, who is entering his second season.

In 2024, Henderson averaged an absurd 7.1 yards per carry. He's also a dangerous pass catcher and blocker.

Henderson starred for the Buckeyes from the time he was a freshman. He ran for 1,248 yards all the way back in 2021.

ESPN's Booger McFarland called him the best pass blocking RB in the draft.

Henderson joins Rhamondre Stevenson as a solid combo tandem.

Eventually, the Patriots can let Stevenson move on and unleash Henderson on the NFL.

It's a great pick for Mike Vrabel in his first season. Expect offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to find some great opportunities for Henderson in year one.

He went just two picks after his Ohio State teammate, Quinshon Judkins.

The national champs are making a great impact on the NFL Draft. Henderson was already the sixth Ohio State player chosen.
