Drake Maye continues to prove week in and week out how special he is.

The New England Patriots' second-year quarterback did it again on Sunday in a blowout victory over the New York Jets.

He didn't even have to play three full quarters, because by the end of the Patriots' first drive after halftime, they led 42-3.

So at that point, Maye sat down with stats never before done in NFL history.

Maye's final stats looked like this:

  • 19-for-21 passing
  • 256 passing yards
  • 5 passing TDs
  • 3 rushes
  • 22 rushing yards

Maye is the first QB in NFL history to have a 90% completion rate, 250-plus passing yards and five-plus passing touchdowns in the same game.

The fact that Maye did it in just two-and-a-half quarters made it that much more impressive.

The Patriots are one win away from taking the AFC East crown. They'll play the Miami Dolphins in Week 18, and Maye will surely perform impressively again.
