Drake Maye is special.
New England Patriots fans have known that for a while now, and the rest of the football world continues to learn it. Maye proved that point again on Sunday night with a key comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
It was also a historic night for Maye, who did something no quarterback has ever done in the history of the NFL.
OptaStats shared this factoid: No one in NFL history, in a road game, had ever put together a game with at least 30 completions, 25 rushing yards, 300 passing yards, a 70% completion rate and a double-digit fourth-quarter comeback.
That's what Maye did.

Maye delivered a fantastic 37-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Williams to pull within a field goal before a Rhamondre Stevenson TD run won the game with about two minutes to play.
Maye's final line included 31-for-44 passing for 380 yards, two scores, 10 runs for 25 yards and the come-from-behind victory.
The Patriots are now 12-3, one game up on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East Division with two to play.
New England plays at the Jets and then home against the Dolphins. That's certainly a comfortable position to be in to try to close the division title out.
And with Maye playing like this, everything is possible for the Patriots.
