Drake Maye is on the type of run that could be the beginning of incredible things.
The New England Patriots' second-year QB got off to a brilliant start on Sunday in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints, too.
He tossed a quick 53-yard touchdown to DeMario Douglas.
Then, he found Kayshon Boutte for a 25-yard touchdown.
It could've been an even better start, though.
The Pats were robbed of a 61-yard touchdown for a soft offensive pass interference call.
Here's the flag footage. It was thrown on Stefon Diggs away from the play.
This "offensive pass interference" erased a 61-yard TD for the #Patriots. Outrageous call. pic.twitter.com/lmeUzCbE7S

Maye didn't mind, because he soon had his two long touchdown passes anyway.
This really just drives home the point, though. Even when the Patriots have plays that don't count for what seem to be questionable reasons, the end result would've been a big play for Maye.
This guy looks to be the Patriots' rightful and awaited heir to Tom Brady.
No one will ever be Brady.
But New England has to be happy that Maye is in town.
