Patriots' Drake Maye completes win streak feat never done by Tom Brady image

Drake Maye has done it.

He has put together a type of winning streak that even Tom Brady never did for the New England Patriots.

The feat: It's the first time the Patriots have won three consecutive weeks on the road in the regular season since 1961, according to ESPN.

And to be clear, this is about the three weeks back-to-back-to-back. The Patriots won in Buffalo in Week 5, in New Orleans in Week 6 and have now won in Nashville against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.

Of course, New England has had a longer streak of winning road games, including in an undefeated regular season under Tom Brady. But that team never had to play three of those road games in consecutive weeks like this.

The final score was 31-13, and the Patriots didn't even need Maye to finish the game. Josh Dobbs closed it out in relief.

Maye was efficient as heck, going 21-for-23 for 222 yards and two touchdowns.

The athletic Maye also ran eight times for 62 yards.

Maye threw his touchdowns to Kayshon Boutte and Austin Hooper.

Maye looks to be the truth.

The Patriots are 5-2 now, leading the AFC East with the Buffalo Bills on a bye.

At this point, no one would bet against Maye keeping this rolling.
