New England Patriots fans are very confused.
No one knows how Mack Hollins got injured.
Hollins played in the Pats' Week 16 game. He was on the field for the final play and celebrated enthusiastically.
But then leading up to Week 17, Hollins didn't practice all week. He was listed with an abdomen injury.
And then before Sunday arrived, Hollins was placed on Injured Reserve.
So, like, what gives?
Here's that celebration from the end of Week 16:
went from celebrating on the last play of the game to IR

It's a tough loss for the Pats to have Hollins go on IR. He has reliable hands on tough catches for Drake Maye, and he's also a great blocker.
Hollins also brings an energy that few other players do. It can be energizing for the team he's on.
The Patriots will certainly miss him while he's out. And their fans will wonder how it got to this point.
