The Minnesota Vikings had one of the NFL's most expensive rosters in the 2025 season.
But they didn't get competent enough quarterback play, and they missed the playoffs.
Now, they're looking ahead. And one thing they've done is add some wide receiver depth.
On Tuesday, the Vikings signed three wide receivers to reserve/futures contracts, setting them up to join the organization for the offseason. The names were released on the league's official transactions wire:
- Jeshaun Jones
- Dontae Fleming
- Joaquin Davis

Jones was actually already on the Vikings' practice squad, and he was elevated for their Week 18 game.
He's a 6-foot-1 wide receiver from Maryland. His first two NFL touches came Sunday, when he returned two punts for five yards.
Fleming went undrafted in the 2025 class and was an undrafted free agent signee by Minnesota. He spent the entire season on the practice squad for the Vikings.

Davis is 6-foot-4 and was also in the 2025 draft class. He began the season on the Broncos' practice squad, but he too made his way to the Vikings' practice squad by the end of the year, and he'll stick around for now.
The Vikings' biggest wide receiver decision of the offseason is still to come. Their WR3, Jalen Nailor, is a free agent. They've got to decide whether to shell out the money it'll take to bring him back.
