The Minnesota Vikings are entering an offseason that will feature a major decision.
What do they do with J.J. McCarthy?
This past offseason, the Vikings stayed committed to McCarthy. They didn't sign one of the available veterans, including Aaron Rodgers. They stuck with their second-year QB who missed his entire rookie season with injury.
Now, though, McCarthy's job is likely in danger.
He hasn't shown nearly enough this season, a campaign in which he has also been injured multiple times.
They'll certainly bring in some competition for him this offseason.
The guy they bring in might just be Packers QB Malik Willis. That's what The Athletic's Matt Schneidman predicted on X on Sunday:
Malik Willis gonna be starting for the Vikings next season

Willis has been really solid every time he stands in for Jordan Love.
He's set for free agency, and there likely is a team out there that will give him a chance to be a starting QB.
Is it the Vikings? It'd certainly add to some divisional intrigue.
