Carson Wentz took care of the football in the Week 3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but he couldn't repeat that performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Minnesota Vikings dropped a 24-21 loss to the Steelers on Sunday at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. Wentz completed 30 of 46 passes for 350 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions.
Even with the turnovers, Minnesota still had a chance to tie the game late and force overtime, but the drive didn't amount to much.
Randy Moss gives take after Vikings loss
Moreover, former Vikings star receiver and ESPN NFL analyst Randy Moss is calling out the play calling for not targeting Justin Jefferson on the team's final play as Minnesota looked to get into field goal range to set up the game-tying field goal.
"You know, when a game's on the line like that, you put the last play up, you throw it to [Jordan] Addison," Moss said on "NFL Live." "Yes, this is first game back, but man, I want to see 18 at least get a target or attempt. The game's on the line, fellas. And we know you give it to your best player. I don't understand that last play right there."
MORE VIKINGS NEWS: Vikings QB Carson Wentz doesn't hold back after loss to Steelers
Jefferson did have an impressive game in the loss, so it's understandable why Moss is calling out the decision-making process on the final play. The Vikings' star receiver recorded 10 receptions for 126 receiving yards and zero touchdowns against the Steelers.
The Vikings aren't heading home just yet. Instead, they'll stay overseas and make the trip to London for their second straight international matchup.
Minnesota will be aiming to climb back above .500 and avoid flying back to the U.S. with a 2-3 record. Awaiting them at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is yet another AFC North opponent — the Cleveland Browns, marking the third in a row from that division.
