After days of rumors and speculation, the trade has finally become official between the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings.
Per Adam Schefter, the Vikings are acquiring wide receiver Adam Thielen in a trade with the Panthers.
"Panthers and Vikings are finalizing a trade for WR Adam Thielen to return to Minnesota, sources tell ESPN," Schefter reports. "The trade: Vikings get Thielen, a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. Panthers get a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick. Thielen starred for the Vikings from 2013-2022. Now he returns."
Thielen spent nine years with the Vikings out of Minnesota State where he and Stefon Diggs became one of the best receiving duos in the NFL. After Diggs went to Buffalo, Thielen complemented Justin Jefferson before leaving for Carolina in 2023.
