The Indianapolis Colts are looking to re-sign quarterback Daniel Jones this offseason, but the team will have some competition for Jones.

CBS Sports' Zachary Pereles predicts the Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Minnesota Vikings will pursue Jones in free agency.

Pereles believes Indianapolis will end up retaining the 28-year-old signal-caller:

"The Colts are all the way in on Jones, especially after they traded away two first-round picks for Sauce Gardner at the trade deadline. He's coming off a torn Achilles, but expect Indianapolis to figure something out."

Before tearing his Achilles in Week 14 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones was having a career year, tossing 19 touchdowns to eight interceptions with a 68% completion rate.

The veteran quarterback had the Colts square in the playoff picture, but Indianapolis fell apart after Jones went down for the season.

If the Colts can re-sign Jones, they should bring him back. However, Arizona and Minnesota are also likely to be in the quarterback market and could lure Jones away from Indianapolis.

The Cardinals could move on from Kyler Murray in the coming months, while the Vikings may look to add some serious competition for J.J. McCarthy. Arizona is in a much better cap situation than Minnesota, which should give them the edge in a potential pursuit for Jones.

Jones will land a lucrative deal, but his injury does raise some question marks. Going back to Indianapolis seems to be the likeliest scenario, but the Vikings and Cardinals could swoop in and acquire the former top-10 pick.
