The 2025 NFL schedule release made waves around the league. There were plenty of golden schedule releases, including the Los Angeles Chargers arguably having one of the best once again.
But, there was some controversial ones, including the Indianapolis Colts reveal. The Colts followed the Chargers with a Minecraft-related release.
However, the Colts trolled Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
The Colts used a clip of the Coast Guard turning on its siren and pulling up behind a Minecraft-style dolphin labeled "Hill" with a No. 10 jersey.
Last year, Hill was controversially detained by police prior to the in 2024, at one point getting pulled to the ground by police, although he wasn't arrested for the incident.
On Thursday, the Colts released a statement issuing an apology and stating they took the video down: "We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek."
As it turns out, Hill didn't seem too bothered by the situation, rather said it was funny, as his agent told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
"Agent Drew Rosenhaus said Tyreek Hill just told him that he didn’t take the Colts’ schedule release post seriously and he thought it was funny."
So, the Colts' schedule release video surely brought mixed reactions, which prompted the team to take it down a day later. But, Hill didn't even seem too irked by the move as he took the high road.
