With Tyreek Hill out for the season, the Miami Dolphins are going to need more out of wide receiver Malik Washington the rest of the way.

Hill suffered a season-ending dislocated knee injury in Week 4, which propels Washington into the WR2 role in Miami.

However, Washington hasn't done much in his new role since Hill's injury and that is continuing early on in the Week 11 game against the Washington Commanders.

Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is Malik Washington playing today?

Yes, Washington is active and in the lineup, he just wasn't targeted over the Dolphins' first drive. Tua Tagovailoa did connect with his No. 1 wideout, Jaylen Waddle, and tight end Greg Dulcich. We also saw a heavy dose of running back De'Von Achane.

Here's to hoping Washington gets going on drive No. 2.
