The Miami Dolphins are searching for their new offensive coordinator this offseason. With Jeff Halfley and Jon-Eric Sullivan in charge, both from the Green Bay Packers, the offensive mind leading the team could be a former Packers guy.
There are some options, but as of now, the search is not well-known. It's been a few days since they hired their head coach, and yet, the coordinator search is still not off the ground.
NFL insider for Sports Illustrated, Albert Breer, notes that there currently is not a favorite for the OC job in Miami. In fact, Breer notes that the search has yet to get fully underway.
Dolphins OC search has no favorites amid slow process
"...I don't think there is one (a favorite)," Breer writes. "My sense is the Dolphins are going to get their process going on staffing over the next couple of days, and they'll be open-minded in finding an offensive coordinator to work alongside new coach Jeff Hafley."
This new offensive coordinator is a bigger deal than it is for other teams. The Dolphins are looking for a coordinator to call plays, with Hafley being a defensive-minded coach.
That means this new coordinator will be calling plays and dictating a lot of how the offense works going forward.
There are some options that Breer notes who could be the Dolphins' new offensive coordinator.

Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich could be an option, and since he's not calling plays in Green Bay, the Dolphins could poach him.
Internal candidate Bobby Slowik is another option to consider, as the passing game coordinator this past season for Miami, and former Houston Texans OC, wouldn't be the worst hire.
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Dolphins have requested an interview with Texans QBs coach Jerrod Johnson for their offensive coordinator job. That's the first interview in line, with plenty more to come.
