The Miami Dolphins' season was on the line in the Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But with the Dolphins trailing in the fourth quarter, it didn't seem like head coach Mike McDaniel and Co. Cared.

Normally when a team is trailing by multiple scores late in a game the way the Dolphins were, the team will go with the hurry-up to try and get quick points.

The Dolphins did the exact opposite of that and took their time by huddling up and making substitutions. Just zero sense of urgency.

Even NFL Hall of Famer and ESPN announcer Troy Aikman said the Dolphins' lack of urgency was "about as ridiculous as I've ever seen."

It was no doubt bizarre to see, especially with the Dolphins needing a win to stay in the playoff race.

Did the Dolphins give up?

It certainly looked like that.

The Dolphins' lack of action to even try to get back into the game did not show the mark of a team that cares. And that isn't on the players. Instead, it's on McDaniel, who decides when his offense speeds up.

Just inexcusable, especially for a head coach who is fighting for his job down the stretch of the season.

Dolphins ripped for not going hurry-up

"I’m barely paying attention to this game, but why are the Dolphins full huddling right now?" Pride of Detroit's Jeremy Reisman rightly asked.

"This entire dolphins coaching staff should be fired for zero hurry up. Burning more time then the Steelers and they are down by 19," one fan said.

"I can't believe Dolphins just gave up. Play hurry up, get a turnover it could still be a game. This is embarrassing," another fan said.

"Dolphins are so pathetic. They are taking their time and hiking the ball with less than 5 seconds each snap," one fan stated.
