Sources have an optimistic outlook on injured Davante Adams ahead of Week 15 Lions matchup image

This Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams (10-3) are set to host the Detroit Lions (8-5) in what will be one of the best games of the weekend. Detroit is right on the outside looking in of the playoffs, so they’ll be fighting for their postseason lives.

The Rams are currently the #1 seed in the NFC and don’t want to give Seattle or Green Bay an inch.

In order to beat Detroit, Los Angeles will need to be on top of their game, and in order to do that, they’ll need to have their top players. They certainly have those top players on their roster, too.

QB Matthew Stafford is blowing the rest of the QB field out of the water statistically, they have an elite and balanced rushing attack with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, and the single best 1-2 punch at WR in the league.

One member of that 1-2 punch is veteran Davante Adams, who leads the NFL in receiving TDs this season with a whopping 14. Adams, who’s been dealing with a hamstring injury, is questionable going into Sunday’s matchup.

Thanks to league sources, we have a better idea of Adam’s status going into the game.

Sources say Davante Adams is “expected” to play Sunday

Luckily for Sean McVay and company, it’s sounding like they’ll have one of their star receivers at their star QB’s disposal against Detroit.

Detroit has struggled defending the pass this season, so Los Angeles will look to utilize both Adams and OPOY candidate Puka Nacua against the Lions. We’ll see if Adams will be able to extend his already massive lead in TDs over the rest of the WR field.
