The Los Angeles Rams delivered on a dominating win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, beating their NFC rival 41-34.
Los Angeles became the first NFC team to clinch a playoff spot in 2025, and currently holds the No. 1 seed in the conference. If that positioning remains, the Rams will receive a bye and wait to play their first opponent in the divisional round.
Head coach Sean McVay was fired up after the victory, and he handed out gameballs for Sunday's biggest performers.
Sean McVay's postgame speech will have you ready to run through a wall
"Here's what I'm gonna tell you guys, so proud of the resiliance, the mental toughness, and here's the reality. Alright, we punched our ticket to be able to get into the playoffs, but we know it," McVay yelled out to his players.
"Good job. We didn't talk about that all week, but we knew this. Alright, unbelievable job. I'll recognize a couple guys, but our preparation for Thursday starts right after this. Alright, get that recovery. Get yourself right. That was a physical game. Alright, but I've been waiting to be able to give a couple of these guys these game balls."
Los Angeles' head coach handed out game balls to quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Puka Nacua, and assistant head coach/pass game coordinator Aubrey Pleasant.
Stafford, the current favorite to win league-MVP, completed 24 of 38 pass attempts for 368 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
Nacua, meanwhile, added to his already impressive season, catching nine balls for 181 yards.
Pleasant clearly dialed up a fantastic gameplan for the Rams passing offense, earning himself recognition for Los Angeles explosive offensive outing.
