The Los Angeles Rams traveled down to Phoenix, Arizona, to take on the Cardinals in the first of their two divisional matchups this season. It started off rough with Sean McVay traveling separately due to an illness, but everything ended up working out fine.

Actually, about as fine as you could've asked for if you're the Rams. They defeated Arizona 45-17, absolutely throttling them in their own home.

Matthew Stafford went 22/31, throwing for 281 yards and three TDs. Blake Corrum and Puka Nacua also had spectacular individual days, with Corum rushing for 128 yards and two TDs, while Nacua went bonkers with seven catches for 167 yards and two TDs.

It was such a beating that the Rams elected to pull certain players towards the end of the game.

What the Rams dished out on Sunday wasn't just a beating; it was a historic offensive performance for the franchise.

Rams channeled their inner 'Greatest Show on Turf'

In the early 2000s, the Rams, led by Kurt Warner, were the most revolutionary offense the league had seen. They were riddled with weapons like Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt, and Marshall Faulk, which led them to being dubbed 'The Greatest Show on Turf'.

On Sunday, the current iteration of this Rams team paid homage to their predecessors. It was the first time since December 30th, 2001, that the Rams scored three passing TDs and three rushing TDs in the same game.

The Seahawks also won in dominant fashion Sunday, but it's looking like the two best teams in the NFC might just be coming out of the NFC West.
