For a while, it looked like the Los Angeles Rams were destined for the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Not only did that not happen, but the Rams actually have to go on the road in the first round because they failed to win their own division.

But it isn't all bad for the Rams, as the team got some great news regarding star wide receiver Davante Adams ahead of their Wild Card Round matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Davante Adams off injury report, cleared to play against Panthers

After missing the final three games of the regular season due to a hamstring strain, Adams is officially off of L.A.’s injury report and good to go for the game against the Panthers, which will take place on Saturday afternoon in Charlotte. That means MVP-favorite Matthew Stafford will have both of his top targets – Adams and Puka Nacua  – available for the game.

Despite missing the final three games, Adams still led the league in touchdown receptions during the regular season with 14. He also finished his first season in L.A. With 60 receptions and 789 yards.

The Rams clearly missed Adams down the stretch of the season, as they dropped two of the three games that he was sidelined for. Those two losses came by a total of four points, and Adams' presence potentially could have altered the outcomes.

The Panthers got the best of the Rams, 31-28, when the two teams met back on Nov. 30. So, the Rams will be looking for some revenge this time around. Having Adams healthy and available should help their cause.
