The Los Angeles Rams face a pivotal matchup on Sunday with the division rival Seattle Seahawks.

Both teams sit at 7-2, tied atop the division and each riding a four-game winning streak. It will be the first of two games the Rams and Seahawks play against each other, and it should be a deciding factor in who gets the tie-breaker for a division title.

Los Angeles is going to need to be at full strength to contend with Seattle, and they're hopeful to have star wideout Davante Adams after the veteran missed practice this week with an injury.

Davante Adams misses practice, expected to play Sunday

While Adams didn't practice on Wednesday due to an oblique injury, Rams head coach Sean McVay indicated that the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver should be ready to go for Sunday.

"Davante Adams (oblique) will not practice Wednesday but McVay expects Adams will be ready to play on Sunday vs. Seahawks," wrote the L.A. Times' Gary Klein on X.

Adams has been a key piece to Los Angeles' offense since signing with the Rams in free agency last March.

In nine games this season, the three-time All-Pro has hauled in 42 balls for 586 yards and nine touchdowns. His presence has opened up the offense for fellow star Puka Nacua and helped catapult Matthew Stafford into MVP consideration.

If the Rams want to make sure they're on even footing with the Seahawks on Sunday, they'll hope Adams is at 100% and ready to run.
