The Los Angeles Rams have officially arrived in chilly Chicago to face the Bears on Sunday, and the team bus was greeted with a bit of playful trash talk upon arrival.
Sunday night’s divisional round playoff game at Soldier Field is expected to bring single-digit temperatures, snow, and wind gusts over 10 mph—a stark contrast to California’s mild weather.

According to WGN-TV, local businesses organized a weather-themed jab ahead of the game. Chicago ad agency Schafer Condon Carter (SCC), in partnership with Old National Bank, quickly updated the bank’s billboard along the Kennedy Expressway with a message locals would understand:
“Hey LA, we dare you to lick the goal post. Welcome to Chicago.”
The billboard is just one example of how the city is embracing playoff excitement.

On Thursday, WGN-TV captured Merchandise Mart lit up with the Bears logo, while the Willis Tower’s antenna glowed in blue and orange. A Caleb Williams ice sculpture was also on display outside Merchandise Mart throughout the day.
Fans are hoping the added hype and support will propel the Bears to another victory on Sunday, earning them a spot in the NFC Championship Game. But the Rams are aiming to spoil the party.
