Puka Nacua injury update makes news worse for Los Angeles Rams image

Davante Adams had just left the game with an injury. It couldn't get worse for the Rams, could it?

And then Puka Nacua got injured.

Nacua caught a pass from Matthew Stafford, and he was trying to gain extra yardage.

As he was brought down, Nacua's left leg got caught in an awkward position underneath him.

It wasn't clear which part of his leg was hurt, but it didn't look great.

Initially, Nacua didn't put any weight on the left leg.

Eventually, he walked off without too major a limp, so it's not clear how bad the injury was.

Nacua has been one of the best receivers on the planet this season. Adams has been great, too.

The Rams, in short order, lost both of them to injury.

Given that both initially struggled to walk but then both were able to walk somewhat by themselves, maybe the news isn't as bad as initially feared.

But it put a huge scare into Rams fans. These were sequences they didn't want to see at all.
