Matthew Stafford is playing at such a high level that he doesn't even have to look where he's throwing.

That's right: On a touchdown pass by the Los Angeles Rams' superstar QB on Thursday night, he pulled out a no-look.

Stafford looked into the right flat. Puka Nacua ran a slant. Stafford threw right into Nacua's chest for the touchdown, despite never actually turning his head to look at Nacua.

Yeah, that's crazy.

The Nacua slant is pretty much a timing and tight-window route. Not looking could be disastrous for a quarterback.

But somehow, that's how special Stafford is. He simply just made this work.

He's pulled this move out before, and he's not the only QB with it in his bag. But this might be as drastic a no-look, as far as the directions of the play go, as Stafford has ever done.

He knew Nacua would get open and give it a chance, which is part of the reason you choose a play like this.

The other reason? It's a lot of fun, especially when it works out as well as this.
