The Los Angeles Rams have to defeat two familiar faces if they want to reach the Super Bowl.

Opposing the Rams in both the NFC Divisional Round and potentially the NFC Championship Game are a pair of QBs from USC, about seven miles away from SoFi Stadium.

That Trojans-centric journey starts on Sunday when the Rams play in Chicago against the Bears and Caleb Williams.

Williams was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and has improved greatly from year one to year two.

Stafford, one of the best to ever do it, will try to prove his experience wins out on this stage.

If the Rams win, they already know their opponent for the next round will be the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks are quarterbacked by Sam Darnold in his first season in Seattle. Darnold was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the second QB off the board after Baker Mayfield went first.

Stafford was chosen first overall all the way back in the 2009 NFL Draft. He came out of Georgia to the Detroit Lions, and he was a star there and now still is with the Rams.

Is there any real secret to beating a couple of USC quarterbacks in the playoffs? Doesn't seem like it.

It's just a quirky coincidence and one that Rams fans will want to brush aside and take care of anyway.
