The Los Angeles Rams have a pair of injury concerns at the running back position ahead of their Week 18 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum are both questionable to play due to ankle injuries. While Williams was able to log three limited practices during the week, Corum only posted one after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
Just in case you were wondering, yes, the Rams plan on playing their starters in Week 18, so that won't be a factor here.
Ahead of a game against the Cardinals that will determine which seed the Rams finish in, here's what we know about Williams' and Corum's statuses for Sunday.
Is Kyren Williams playing today?
During the week, head coach Sean McVay said he "feels good" about Williams' chances of suiting up, so the expectation is he will go.
We'll get final confirmation on Williams' status an hour and a half before the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday.
Is Blake Corum playing today?
McVay did not discuss Corum's status, so we'll have to take an educated guess here.
Given the fact that Corum only logged one limited practice during the week, he appears to be on the wrong side of questionable and is more likely to sit out.
The fact that he did log a practice to close out the week does give him at least a slight chance, but Los Angeles isn't likely to push it, especially with Williams expected to play.
We believe the Rams will err on the side of caution and sit Corum out to make sure he's as healthy as possible for the playoffs.
