The Los Angeles Rams are heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals with a chance to maintain their NFC West division lead and also put a bad loss to the Carolina Panthers behind them.
While Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Devante Adams will draw plenty of attention, running back Kyren Williams will be one of the more interesting players to watch this week.
ESPN Research highlighted that Williams is 132 yards away from some Rams franchise history. While it would be a lofty goal to reach in Week 14, it's not unrealistic that he could accomplish a feat not seen in Rams history since 2012.
Kyren Williams is 132 yards away from Rams feat not seen since 2012
"Rams RB Kyren Williams is 132 rushing yards shy of becoming the first Rams player with 1,000 rushing yards in three straight seasons since Steven Jackson (eight straight, 2005-2012)." ESPN Research noted.
Williams breaking 1,000 rushing yards this season wouldn't be a surprise, as he has five games left, including Week 14, to reach that mark.
But, with a huge game against the Cardinals, he could reach that benchmark and join Steven Jackson as the last running back to reach 1,000 rushing yards in three straight seasons for the Rams.
What's surprising about this is that Todd Gurley, who was a dominant running back for years with the Rams, never accomplished this feat.

In his five seasons with the Rams, Gurley ran for over 1,000 yards three times, but an 885-yard season in 2016 made it so the two-time All-Pro running back never accomplished three-straight seasons of 1,000 rushing yards.
Williams, after a very brief 2022 rookie season in which he ran for 139 yards, has rattled off back-to-back strong seasons. He had 1,144 rushing yards in 2023 and 1,299 yards in 2024.
Through 12 games in 2025, he has 868 rushing yards and needs only 132 more to reach 1,000 on the season. This Cardinals matchup is a chance for Williams to reach that mark, or at the very least, get close enough to reach it in Week 15.
It's an impressive feat for Williams if he can reach it this season, as he would become the first Rams running back to reach 1,000 yards in at least three straight seasons since Jackson did it in eight straight from 2005-2012.
