Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has been dealing with a back injury that has kept him out of practice this training camp. And while the details of that injury were largely unknown, more information has come out, and it's not great.
"Rams QB Matthew Stafford is dealing with an aggravated disc and has received an epidural to help him deal with it. Los Angeles has called him week-to-week, being cautious, but with plans for him to be ready for Week 1," Ian Rapoport reports.
Stafford's injury had been up in the air, and updates from Sean McVay had been somewhat vague. The latest information is a bit concerning that he had to have an epidural done. And while the expectation is that he will be ready for Week 1, the concern is rightfully still there.
