Although the Los Angeles Rams secured another big win this season, clinching a playoff berth against the Detroit Lions, who are fighting for their playoff lives, they may have lost a significant offensive component.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, he suffered a non-contact hamstring injury while running a go route, went down immediately, clutching the back of his leg, then got up and walked off the field under his own power.

After the game, head coach Sean McVay said the injury didn't look good for him to suit up on Thursday when they face the Seattle Seahawks, as the NFC West is still up for grabs, but he also did not want to rule him out quite yet.

For the Rams, the injury couldn't have come at a worse time, with the chance to secure the NFC's number one seed and the playoffs less than a month away.

It may be tough for the team to find a substitute for the production Adams has provided thus far throughout the year, recording nearly 1,000 receiving yards on the season, with 789 yards, while currently leading the league in receiving touchdowns at 14.
Of course, Los Angeles still has one of the best receivers in the league in Puka Nacua, who has the second most yards in the league behind only Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who has undeniably had his best season in his young career.

However, the second behind receiver Adams is backup tight end Colby Parkinson, with only 31 catches and 298 receiving yards, as the team already lost Tyler Higbee, who was placed on injured reserve after the first matchup against the Seahawks.

No matter the result of Thursday's game, the Rams will have some questions to answer about how best to monitor Adams' injury.
