There is never a shortage of drama when it comes to the NFL, especially with shows like Hard Knocks or Quarterback that give fans a peak behind the curtain. Well, that drama has found its way to Los Angeles due to comments made by their former quarterback Jared Goff.
The Rams traded Goff to the Detroit Lions in exchange for draft picks and Matthew Stafford - a move that Goff was completely blindsided by.
"Three weeks after the last game of the season, get a call from Sean and really did not expect anything," Goff said. "He lets me know they're trading me to Detroit and I'm like, 'Whoa, OK, all right. What the hell? What's happening?' I would say about 30 seconds after that phone call, it was on Twitter.”
Goff added he felt betrayed due to the lack of communication leading up to the trade.
"You feel like you've been betrayed, or like, you're not wanted. And I think for me, ultimately, it was the fact that there was not a conversation had and there wasn't like a, 'Hey, we're thinking of moving on'-type of thing. There was nothing.
