The Los Angeles Rams have finally welcomed back wide receiver Davante Adams, and at the perfect time.

Adams had missed multiple games at the end of the season due to a hamstring injury, but he was cleared just in time for the wild-card matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday.

However, Adams is off to a slow start on Saturday afternoon. Here's a closer look at what's going on with the veteran wideout.

Is Davante Adams playing today?

UPDATE: Adams was targeted twice on the Rams' latest drive and caught one of them, but the reception was negated due to a penalty.

UPDATE: Three drives and still no targets for Adams. The Rams were in Adams' territory near the goal line on the series but the pass went to Nacua instead.

UPDATE: Los Angeles' second drive wasn't nearly as successful, and Stafford threw just one pass, which, of course, went to Nacua.

Yes, Adams is active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten a look from quarterback Matthew Stafford yet.

Los Angeles drove down the field easily en route to a first-drive touchdown, but all three of Stafford's passes went to fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua instead of Adams.

We'd suspect it won't be long before Adams gets going, though, especially if the Panthers don't step their game up on defense.
