Davante Adams injury update looks like painful news for Rams image

Davante Adams was going deep and looked open. Matthew Stafford let it rip.

But then he pulled up. He didn't get to the ball. He was hurt.

Adams has been dealing with a hamstring injury. This looked like a reaggravation.

The star Los Angeles Rams wideout went down while holding back toward his hammy.

The trainers got out to him quickly. Sean McVay was also on that side of the field, so he came to check in.

There was good news after a delay. Adams walked off without too much limp with trainers. He did head to the locker room, though.

In a competitive game with the Lions, there's a chance Adams gets back in.

The Rams may want to be careful, though. Hamstrings aren't something to mess with.

They need Adams in the long term, and they can probably hold on to Sunday's lead without him.

It remains to be seen whether Adams gets back into the game, but for a moment at least, one of the NFL's top veteran WRs was hurting.
