It was a bad day for the Los Angeles Chargers.
They got blown out by the Jacksonville Jaguars, and at one point early in the contest, Justin Herbert got hurt.
Herbert came back into the game for a while, but he didn't finish it.
By the end, Trey Lance was in.

Why is Trey Lance playing QB for the Chargers, not Justin Herbert?
Lance is in for Herbert to finish out the blowout.
There's no reason for the Chargers to leave Herbert in while down four scores.
A few weeks ago, the Commanders had Jayden Daniels in trailing by 31 in the fourth quarter and he dislocated his left elbow. That was a reminder not to mess around with this.
It's a fascinating moment for Lance.
He was once a top-five pick for the San Francisco 49ers, but injuries and ineffectiveness never let him break through with the 'Niners.
Lance came into the summer as the Chargers' QB3, but he won the backup job.
Now, he's on the field as Herbert watches the end of a disappointing loss.
