It's apparently trendy to post this on social media on Monday afternoon:
Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton is still on Injured Reserve.
Technically, that's true.
But every indication is that Hampton is playing. The Chargers legitimately announced he's going to be playing on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles.
They don't have to make the official IR activation until a few hours before kickoff. So they're waiting.
NFL teams wait on official moves like this all the time. There can be other developing situations they're keeping an eye on, too, that would be impacted by roster moves.
Hampton is coming back from a fractured ankle and hasn't played in a couple months, so it's fair to be concerned as a concept.
But here, unless news comes out from one of the major insiders (Adam Schefter, Ian Rapoport) that Hampton for some reason has been pushed out of the Monday night plans, there's no need to worry.

His IR activation is coming.
UPDATE: At 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT), ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Hampton has indeed been activated. All is good to go.
If you're counting on Hampton in fantasy football, you're just fine.
If you're counting on the other Chargers RB, Kimani Vidal, yes this situation still looks like it'll be confusing.
The Chargers need all hands on deck to beat the Eagles and stay in an AFC wild card spot. Hampton is ready to go.
