NFL Picks, Predictions Week 7: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts image

The Los Angeles Chargers snapped a two-game losing streak last week with a last-second win over the Miami Dolphins. It was a game the team could not afford to lose and the win got them back on the right track and kept them at the top of the AFC West division.

The Chargers get a big test this Sunday in the form of the Indianapolis Colts (5-1), currently the top team in the AFC. The Colts have to make the trip to SoFi Stadium but even with home-field advantage, the Chargers may be too banged up to pull this one off.

It should be one of the top games of Week 7. Here's how the experts see it going.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts Week 7 Expert Picks

Jeremy Cluff, Arizona Republic: Colts 27, Chargers 20

"In Week 4, the Colts fell to the Rams at SoFi Stadium, 27-20. Daniel Jones and Indianapolis get to return to that venue in Week 7 and will get a different, better result."

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Chargers 34, Colts 27

"This is an enormous game for these two, and especially a prove-it game for the Colts since they have played a softer schedule. They have been impressive, but this will be a challenge. I think the Chargers and Justin Herbert will be up to it. This will be fun to watch with a lot of points."

Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: Colts 27, Chargers 24

"The Colts are rolling with Jonathan Taylor on the ground and that's where Jim Harbaugh's defense is starting to struggle big time, also giving up big game-breaking runs. The Chargers are hurting again in the backfield and receiving corps. Justin Herbert will try to stay game, but Harbaugh's other former team is better overall at the moment."

Bill Bender, The Sporting News: Chargers 27, Colts 22

"The Colts lost 27-20 at the Rams in Week 4. They'll get a redo against the Chargers, who got a spark from Kimani Vidal with 18 carries for 124 yards in his first game as a feature back. Los Angeles is 6-4 S/U at home under Jim Harbaugh, and that includes a 1-1 S/U record this season. It's a true toss-up game, but look for Justin Herbert to make the plays in the clutch again."

The Chargers and Colts will kick off at 1:05 pm Pacific time. The game will be televised on CBS and Ian Eagle and J.J. Watt will have the call.
