Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch is in the house for the Week 1 game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs and appeared to be offering some advice to rookie running back Omarion Hampton.
Lynch isn't attending the game as a spectator. Instead, Lynch has taken up being a photographer at NFL games. Talk about a jack-of-all-trades.
Putting that aside, Lynch walked up to Hampton while he was sitting on the bench and looked to be coaching the youngster up following a mistake he made on the previous drive.

The mistake Hampton made was running out of bounds to stop the clock near the end of the first half. That allowed the Chiefs to get the ball back and they eventually turned it into a field goal in the closing seconds.
While it wasn't a good look for Hampton, it can be excused considering it's his very first game in the NFL. Rookies are going to make mistakes, plain and simple.
Through one half of his debut, Hampton tallied eight carries for 31 yards, with a long gain of 11 yards. He has looked solid as a runner and even showed some promise in pass protection.
More importantly, he has dominated touches in the backfield, as no other Chargers running back, including Najee Harris, has gotten a carry over the first two quarters.
