Chargers' Cameron Dicker misses two unbelievable kicks as NFL's most accurate kicker image

Cameron Dicker doesn't miss kicks.

He entered Saturday night as the most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history.

And then he missed a 32-yard field goal at the end of the first half, and an extra point in the fourth quarter.

At the time of Dicker's second miss, the Chargers trailed by four points. Those were four missed points on chip shots for Dicker.

It seemed pretty much impossible. What were the odds of these both happening?

Dicker entered the night having made 127-of-135 field goals in his NFL career, which is 94.1%, the best percentage in league history.

He was also 125-for-128 in his career on extra points.

Dicker had never missed a field goal inside of 40 yards before this one on Saturday. He also hadn't missed an extra point all season.

The first kick missed wide right. The second missed wide left.

There's really no way to explain this.

The rarest thing that could happen to the Chargers, Dicker missing easy kicks, happened twice in the same game.

And it seemed likely to cost them.
