What's the reason Ashton Jeanty isn't getting more carries?
The Raiders are empowering Smith to handle situations himself, a dynamic that's worsened by falling behind early.
It still is a bit of overkill. The Raiders ran more play-action passes than actual run plays.
Jeanty's been tackled behind the line of scrimmage frequently this season, according to the Vegas odds. It's clear they haven't provided sufficient protection for him.
However, it's still not a good idea to completely abandon Jeanty. This approach doesn't utilize their strengths effectively.
