J.J. Pegues is one of the most unique players in football.
He's a 325-pound defensive tackle.
He also had 21 carries for 69 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season at Ole Miss.
Good luck tackling him.
The Las Vegas Raiders chose him in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. It's not obvious that they plan to use any of Pegues' ball-carrying ability.
But man, it'd be fun if they did.

Pegues also completed his only college pass, making him 1-for-1 throwing it.
He showed up at Auburn in 2020 as a tight end, converted to DT the next year, then transferred to Ole Miss. This isn't your ordinary interior lineman.
Here's hoping the Raiders put the ball in Pegues' hands at some point this season.
