Micah Parsons requested a trade from the Dallas Cowboys, and the Las Vegas Raiders could be a potential landing spot for the superstar edge rusher.
NFL Rumors' Logan Ulrich proposes a trade that would send Parsons to Las Vegas, with a 2026 first-round pick, 2026 second-round pick, 2027 first-round pick, and edge rusher Malcolm Koonce heading to Dallas in return.
"Two dominant pass rushers like Parsons and Crosby would give the Raiders a trump card no other team has," Ulrich wrote.
Parsons is unhappy with the Cowboys' lack of communication on a potential contract extension throughout the offseason, and it sounds like the relationship between both sides may be irreparable.
Dallas has no plans of trading Parsons, but the team could be forced to at some point and could opt to take a lucrative return for the All-Pro pass rusher over paying him a long-term deal.
The Raiders already gave Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby a three-year contract extension worth $106 million this offseason, so they may not have enough money to give another pass rusher a top-of-the-market deal.
However, a duo of Crosby and Parsons would be nearly unstoppable, so general manager John Spytek should still consider making a move for the disgruntled Cowboys superstar.
Since entering the league in 2021, Parsons has tallied four double-digit sack campaigns and two seasons with over 100 quarterback pressures. The 26-year-old is one of the most prolific players in the sport and is a generational talent worth giving up valuable picks for, along with the historic contract he will receive.
Las Vegas has a legitimate chance to be a playoff contender in 2025. Adding Parsons could make them the second-best team in the AFC West and bring them one step closer to the postseason.
