The Las Vegas Raiders are sitting a lot of good players on Sunday.
Maxx Crosby is out. Brock Bowers is out. The list goes on as the Raiders know that a loss would put them in the driver's seat to get the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
But against the New York Giants in Week 17, they can't sit everyone.
Ashton Jeanty has been a question all week. He's not necessarily hurt. He can just single-handedly win a football game.

Is Ashton Jeanty playing this week?
Jeanty is expected to play, unlike some of his top teammates.
ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed that news in a post on X on Saturday night:
Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty, whose status has been the source of speculation with his team and the Giants vying Sunday for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, is expected to play vs. The Giants, per source.

Jeanty has come on strong of late, and so he may have a strong day against the Giants.
It wouldn't be surprising to see the Raiders at least limit his workload a bit.
It's hard to flip the switch off for such a good player if he's on the field. It'd be a tough break for the Raiders if they don't get the No. 1 pick because Jeanty plays too well.
